Hydra is a self-cleaning filter that effectively removes sediments. The filters are easy to clean (both automatically or manually opening a drain ball valve at the bottom of the filter) using a counter-current washing system. The drain system blocks the reflux of ejected water for a highly efficient cleaning process.

The self-cleaning filters pair with stainless steel net DOE, Polyester net DEO, and Plated polypropylene DOE cartridge filters. Available in connection options of ½”, ¾”, 1 ¼”, 1 ½“ with brass or plastic thread and of ½”, ¾”, 1” in Plastic with NPT thread.

Features:

  • Made from non-toxic material safe for potable water
  • Safe drain operations with reflux block
  • Manometers provide full control of pressures
  • Capacity intervals from 3000 to 10000 l/h
  • Maximum operating temperature: 45°C (113° F)
  • Maximum operating pressure, BSP versions: 8 bar (116 psi)
  • Maximum operating pressure, NPT versions: 8,6 bar (125 psi)

FAQs

What are filter bags for?
Filter bags are an integral part of bag filter systems, used to capture and remove solid particles from liquids or gases. They help reduce downstream contamination and improve process efficiency across industries like chemicals, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, and water treatment.
Gopani filter bags are available in materials such as polyester, polypropylene and nylon, plus specially treated media for high temperature or chemical resistance depending on your application.
Common collar options include steel ring collars, plastic collars and specialized welded collars to suit different housings and sealing methods.
Filtration ranges typically span from 1 micron to 500 microns depending on media and construction.
Flow rates depend on bag size, media and system design; we can help select the correct bag based on your LPM/GPM requirements.
Some filter bags can be cleaned and reused depending on the solids and application; however, single-use bags are common for contamination control.
Replace when you observe a significant pressure drop, physical damage to the bag, or when the recommended service life has been reached for your application.
