Clarypleat PTFE is a pleated cartridge filters with PTFE membrane as filter media. Due to the hydrophobic nature of Pleat Polytetrafluoroethylene , this filter is widely used in various oil and gas applications especially where process fluids are to be saved from humidity or steam. PTFE is resistant to a wide range of chemicals, hence Clarypleat PTFE is often used to deal with aggressive liquids.

Features and Benefits

  • Very high temperature resistance and compatible with a wide range of chemicals.
  • The components are sealed together with advance thermal welding techniques.
  • All the components utilized in this filter are FDA compliant.
  • They can be steam-sterilized and autoclaved.
  • These filters are manufactured, tested, and packaged in a clean room to ensure the purity.
  • Available in micron rating as small as 0.05 micron.
Applications
  • Gas sterilizing filtration in medicine and food industry
  • Sterilizing filtration of aggressive solvent and organic solvent
  • Clarification filtration in electroplating, fuel and chemical industry

FAQs

What are filter bags for?
Filter bags are an integral part of bag filter systems, used to capture and remove solid particles from liquids or gases. They help reduce downstream contamination and improve process efficiency across industries like chemicals, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, and water treatment.
Gopani filter bags are available in materials such as polyester, polypropylene and nylon, plus specially treated media for high temperature or chemical resistance depending on your application.
Common collar options include steel ring collars, plastic collars and specialized welded collars to suit different housings and sealing methods.
Filtration ranges typically span from 1 micron to 500 microns depending on media and construction.
Flow rates depend on bag size, media and system design; we can help select the correct bag based on your LPM/GPM requirements.
Some filter bags can be cleaned and reused depending on the solids and application; however, single-use bags are common for contamination control.
Replace when you observe a significant pressure drop, physical damage to the bag, or when the recommended service life has been reached for your application.
