Hydra duo is a two-stage self-cleaning filter for water filtration treatment. The filter uses hydra variant for first stage with a choice of cartridge filters in stainless steel net, polyester net and pleated polypropylene fabric. The filters are easy to clean (both automatically or manually opening a drain ball valve at the bottom of the filter) using a counter-current washing system. The drain system blocks the reflux of ejected water for a highly efficient cleaning process.

The Hydra Duo filters are tested and certified for the most stringent international standards. The self-cleaning filters guarantee highest quality and safety required water filtration and treatment.

It is available in IN/Out connections of 1/2”, 3/4”, 1” with brass or plastic thread BSP and in 3/4” and 1” in plastic with NPT thread.

FAQs

What are filter bags for?
Filter bags are an integral part of bag filter systems, used to capture and remove solid particles from liquids or gases. They help reduce downstream contamination and improve process efficiency across industries like chemicals, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, and water treatment.
Gopani filter bags are available in materials such as polyester, polypropylene and nylon, plus specially treated media for high temperature or chemical resistance depending on your application.
Common collar options include steel ring collars, plastic collars and specialized welded collars to suit different housings and sealing methods.
Filtration ranges typically span from 1 micron to 500 microns depending on media and construction.
Flow rates depend on bag size, media and system design; we can help select the correct bag based on your LPM/GPM requirements.
Some filter bags can be cleaned and reused depending on the solids and application; however, single-use bags are common for contamination control.
Replace when you observe a significant pressure drop, physical damage to the bag, or when the recommended service life has been reached for your application.
